QuotaPartner + Zoom Integration Guide
QuotaPartner integrates with Zoom to help authorized users create and manage Zoom meetings as part of their business scheduling and workflow experience.
Requirements
To connect Zoom, you need an active QuotaPartner account and a Zoom account authorized to create and manage meetings. Your Zoom administrator may need to approve the QuotaPartner app depending on your organization's Zoom settings.
Adding and Authorizing QuotaPartner
- Sign in to your QuotaPartner account.
- Open Provider Platform / Integrations.
- Locate Zoom and select the option to connect or authorize Zoom.
- You will be redirected to Zoom.
- Sign in to the Zoom account you want to connect.
- Review the permissions requested by QuotaPartner.
- Approve the authorization request.
- Zoom will return you to QuotaPartner.
- QuotaPartner will display the connection status when authorization is complete.
If your Zoom organization requires administrator approval, you may need to request approval from your Zoom administrator before completing authorization.
Using Zoom with QuotaPartner
Once connected, authorized QuotaPartner users can use supported Zoom functionality from QuotaPartner.
QuotaPartner may use the authorized Zoom connection to:
- Create Zoom meetings.
- View relevant meeting information.
- Update or reschedule meetings.
- Cancel Zoom meetings.
- Associate Zoom meetings with QuotaPartner scheduling and business workflows.
- Display authorized meetings in relevant QuotaPartner scheduling experiences.
- Process supported Zoom meeting lifecycle events so meeting information remains synchronized.
QuotaPartner does not require users to manage their normal business scheduling from the Zoom Marketplace. Zoom operates as a connected meeting provider while QuotaPartner provides the business workflow and scheduling experience.
Scheduling a Zoom Meeting
When Zoom is available as an authorized meeting provider, select Zoom when creating an applicable meeting or booking in QuotaPartner. QuotaPartner creates the meeting through the authorized Zoom account and stores the relevant meeting information required to provide the QuotaPartner scheduling experience.
If an authorized meeting is rescheduled or canceled through supported QuotaPartner workflows, QuotaPartner updates the corresponding Zoom meeting where applicable.
Disconnecting Zoom from QuotaPartner
An authorized user can disconnect the Zoom integration from the applicable QuotaPartner integration/provider settings when that option is available to their role.
Disconnecting prevents QuotaPartner from making new Zoom API requests using that authorization. Previously created QuotaPartner business records, scheduling history, audit records, and other records that QuotaPartner is required or permitted to retain are not necessarily deleted merely because the Zoom authorization is disconnected.
Users may contact OmniVentis Systems to request deletion of eligible personal information in accordance with the QuotaPartner Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Removing QuotaPartner from Zoom
You can also remove the QuotaPartner authorization from Zoom:
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Open your installed/added apps or My Library.
- Locate QuotaPartner.
- Select the option to remove the app.
- Confirm removal.
After removal, QuotaPartner will no longer be authorized to access Zoom through that authorization. Features requiring the Zoom connection will become unavailable until Zoom is authorized again.
Removing the Zoom app does not automatically erase legitimate QuotaPartner business records that were previously created or synchronized. Data is retained or deleted according to the QuotaPartner Privacy Policy, contractual requirements, and applicable law.
Reconnecting Zoom
If Zoom has been disconnected or authorization has expired or been revoked, return to QuotaPartner's Provider Platform / Integrations area and authorize Zoom again.
Troubleshooting
Zoom will not connect: Confirm you are signing into the intended Zoom account and that your Zoom administrator permits the QuotaPartner application.
A meeting cannot be created or updated: Confirm the Zoom connection remains authorized and healthy. If necessary, reconnect Zoom and retry the operation.
Authorization was revoked: Reconnect Zoom through QuotaPartner before attempting another Zoom operation.
Still need help: Contact OmniVentis Systems through our support page.
Privacy and Data
QuotaPartner accesses Zoom information only as authorized and as necessary to provide the supported integration functionality. For information about collection, use, retention, deletion, security, and user privacy choices, review the OmniVentis Systems / QuotaPartner Privacy Policy.
